In-Theater Safety

Lincoln Center Theater is committed to providing healthy and safe facilities for audiences, performers, and staff. LCT requires vaccinations for audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theater staff, for all performances until further notice. Masks are also required for audiences inside the building at all times; no food or drink will be served or permitted in LCT’s facilities at any time throughout your visit.

All guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine AND present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. (Guests 12-18 may use a government-issued ID or school ID - no photo required.) “Fully vaccinated” means on the date of the performance a guest is at least 14 days after their second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine OR at least 14 days after their single dose of an approved single dose COVID-19 vaccine.

For international guests: TWO doses of any “mix and match” combination of an FDA or WHO approved Covid-19 vaccine are acceptable. 

Guests who need reasonable accommodations due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief must provide proof of one of the following:

  • A negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 72 hours of the performance start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test
  • A negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test

Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the theater.

Limited exceptions allowing for testing and masking are being made for people with a medical condition that prevents vaccination. Please contact info@lct.org for more information.

Policies may shift based on CDC and state guidelines closer to the time of your performance. Protocols may include continued vaccination or negative test verification, mask enforcement, increased cleaning and ventilation/filtration enhancements, and more. These are subject to change and will be communicated to ticket holders in advance of every performance. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue policies will not be admitted.

If You Choose E-Tickets When Purchasing

E-Tickets will be sent to customers 14 days prior to the performance (not immediately!). This provides us the opportunity to update any necessary messaging due to ever-changing COVID policies. By instituting this policy, customers receive whatever the current messaging is at the time of receiving their tickets which should be accurate for their performance date.

The LCT Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 8pm; Sunday, Noon to 6pm. Note that masks are required when visiting the Box Office. If you had tickets for a canceled performance during the pandemic that were purchased with cash at the Box Office, you can now bring them back for a refund.
