David has been awarded commissions from Lincoln Center Theatre, Yale Rep, Berkeley Rep, and the Royal Court. He attended Sarah Lawrence College, the Iowa Playwrights Workshop, and the Juilliard School. He is a member of New Dramatists, the Dramatists Guild, MCC Playwrights Coalition and Vinegar Tom Players.
